Research

My research initially takes inspiration from my undergraduate education in biology and neuroscience. My time both in the classroom, and working in a neuropharmacology lab, drove me to have profound questions about how science worked, and to pursue graduate study in the philosophy of science. It is my long-held belief that these two disciplines fields (philosophy and science) work best in connection with one another.  I’m interested in how science and philosophy can work together to answer important questions. To this end, I take seriously not only what scientists say, but also what they do.

Take a look at my publications and works in progress page for more details about what I’m up to!
